About Dr. Niehaus...
I grew up in the country near Red Bud, IL, and graduated from Red Bud High School in 1999. I then began my undergraduate education, attending Southeast Missouri State University, Southwestern Illinois College, and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. I graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2004 with my Doctorate in Chiropractic, and I opened New Athens Chiropractic in New Athens, Illinois, in September 2005.
In 2007, I completed the 220-hr post-graduate program in Animal Chiropractic at Parker College of Chiropractic and immediately started Niehaus Animal Chiropractic, which I operate in addition to my people practice in New Athens. Niehaus Animal Chiropractic functions as a mobile practice to treat horses, dogs and other animals.
In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, a hobby I have been working at since I was 8, spending time with my friends and family, and reading the writings of D.D. Palmer, the discoverer of Chiropractic, and his son B.J. Palmer, the developer of Chiropractic.
